Prozone Music has a recording studio on site capable of recording up to 8 piece bands, both live or multi tracked. Perfect for chamber groups, function bands or soloists wanting to record a demo or fully produced commercial grade CD.  With equipment including:* Up to 64 track multitrack * Focusrite audio interfaces * Mics by Neuman, Blue, Rode, SE, Sure. * 32/8 track ALLEN and HEATH GS3000 recording console inc. 2 x Valve pre amps * Hardware effects by Lexicon, Zoom and Virtualiser * 100’s of pro effects/compressors and mastering plug-in’s.  Prozone Music Studio, much like many other recording facilities of its kind has a completely dead acoustic. The advantages of this in terms of recording is that an absolutely note perfect result can be achieved through editing. Recording on location in a larger acoustic can have its problems such as extraneous noise, air conditioning, heating systems, etc etc. Unless budget provides use of a well known recording venue such as a concert hall, or renowned church, it can often be a better idea to go for a studio recording as with the use of modern pro effects, the illusion of the performance taking place in a larger acoustic can be achieved afterwards. It also gives the performer(s) the opportunity to discuss and decide the final ‘sound’ they had always envisaged. Recording in a large acoustic can be fabulous, but also sometimes limiting.
