Woodwind repair services

Graham restores. repairs and services all kinds of woodwind instruments. It isn't even necessary to visit the workshop in person as next working day collection and delivery is available from £6.00. A range of high quality repair materials are held in stock and others can be quickly sourced. Phone Graham with your requirements, he will be happy to discuss your needs or offer advice where needed.

Repair turnaround

Please note all work has a maximum turnaround of seven days. Graham is busiest during the English school holidays, particularly the shorter half-terms. Most work undertaken outside these periods is usually completed well within this time. If your instrument has not been serviced in a long while additional work may be necessary to bring it up to playing condition.

Carriage for woodwind instruments

The prices below are for instruments returned from Graham to a U.K. address and are exclusive of VAT.
All collections from the U.K. mainland cost £12.00 +VAT
Your instrument value is the cost of replacement as notified to your insurance company or RRP if your instrument is still in production.

Sending your instrument by post

It is essential that your use an insured carrier. Graham uses CityLink Details of your local branch can be found in Yellow Pages or on their web site. If you wish to use CityLink please call Graham to take advantage of his special rates. Your instrument should be packed in its hard case, in a box with plenty of soft packing material to absorb any impact it may receive. Mark it for the attention of Graham de Vere White. Please include a note with your name and address and a brief description of the problem together with a daytime telephone number.

BRASS REPAIRS

Prozone Music are happy to welcome Dennis Hynes as their new brass repairer.Dennis trained at Paxmans in horn making and brass repairs, eventually lecturing in brass repair at Merton College.He plays trombone and leads his own big band, (brassimpact.co.uk) as well as several smaller groups.

Dennis will be on site at Prozone Music for drop in and scheduled repairs every Tuesday from 9.30am to 4.00pm.Dennis will aim to have a maximum turnaround of seven days, but will advise you should your repair need more time to complete.
