This week, we unboxed the first shipment of the new Bobby Shew custom flugelhorns and couldn’t wait to have a blow. Knowing the immense popularity of the 8310z and 6310z Shew Bb trumpets, we had high expectations. Immediately out of the case, the gold lacquer, valve tops, caps and bottoms and the general look and hold of the instrument is unmistakeably of a Shew custom. It has a classy finish as expected from the mighty Yamaha.
