He was the ultimate lyrical trumpet player. This CD is a collection of his finest recordings. It is a representation of his greatest hits as HE saw them. Following an historic concert in June 2011 featuring some of the worlds finest brass players - a fund has been established in James' name. The James Watson Fund for Brass players is a truly flexible fund aiming to help brass musicians through their studies and in other times of need in these hard economic times.
